Details: The carved heart sits on a three tier base. The top tier is a Rosso Levanto marble, the second tier is a Green Marble, & the third tier is a White Marble containing a brass ring. Each base has bevel edge detailing. The bottom tier also comes installed with a lazy susan.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Martin Lara, spending most of his adulthood surrounded by stone and the wonderful world of artists who carve it, was inspired to begin creating works of his own. With a plethora of time to himself during the worldwide pandemic, Martin was inspired by the pieces of stone and created his latest work titled “Purity”. What inspires him the most is the ability to manipulate and shape that which has been entombed into the earth for centuries.
